Designated Substance and Hazardous Materials Survey
The Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act requires building owners to identify Designated Substances prior to any demolition or renovation work on their property.
A Designated Substances Survey (DSS) is an investigation to determine the presence or absence of Designated Substances or Hazardous Materials such as Asbestos, Lead Paint, or Mould.
